We have opted for transport for two reasons: Most of the women and men cannot afford the cost of travelling there and back in the long term – and we want to start at 8 a.m. on the dot every morning.

We have discussed working hours with the Senegalese trainers more than once: What is reasonable and sensible given the climatic conditions and family commitments? Most tailors are tied down at home in their villages and have to help their families and relatives in the evenings. Ignoring this reality of life would not be sustainable. Sooner or later, there would be conflicts of interest that we want to avoid.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_post_nav prev_text=”previous post” next_text=”next post” _builder_version=”4.25.1″ _module_preset=”default” title_text_color=”#000000″ background_color=”#CFCEBB” custom_padding=”10px|20px|10px|20px|true|true” global_colors_info=”{}” title_text_color__hover_enabled=”off|desktop” background__hover_enabled=”on|hover” background_color__hover=”#FFDC8D” background_enable_color__hover=”on”][/et_pb_post_nav][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Every morning, a bus collects our tailors and dressmakers at several collection points and brings them back there at 4 pm.
